You get a confirmation email straight away, a reminder two days out, and the consultant's name and company the day before. Every email has a one-tap link to reschedule or cancel. With 24 hours' notice there is no charge.
The consultant arrives inside your morning (9 to 12) or afternoon (1 to 4) window. They bring the equipment in, set it up where you would actually use it, and run through the controls. Then they step back. Most visits run about an hour; you can keep going if you want to.
Suppliers agree in writing to a short list of rules: no pressure, no "today only" pricing, no return visit without your invitation, and your details are used for this visit only. If anyone breaks that, tell us by email and they will not get another booking through HomeTrials.
They pack up and leave. If you want to go ahead you deal directly with the supplier, on their terms and warranty. If not, that is the end of it. We send one email asking how it went.

Yes, at any point. Consultants are asked to demonstrate, answer questions and leave. No return visits unless you ask.
